        "description": "This print is from a set of 12 comprising images of the ten disciples of the historical Buddha, Shakyamuni, and two enlightened beings called bodhisattvas. Munakata Shik\u014d was part of the <em>s\u014dsaku hanga </em>(creative prints) movement, which diverged from Japan\u2019s traditional workshop-based woodblock printing practices. Instead of different individuals designing, carving, and printing a work, this 1900s trend emphasized all aspects of the process being done by a single artist.",
