This marked the beginning of a new period in which the formula for the paste was modified. In 1792 Martin Barr became a partner in the firm which was now called Flight & Barr. It was know was Flight & Barr from 1792- 1804 Younger members of the Barr family subsequently joined the firm. It was known as Barr, Flight, & Barr from 1804-13.
