"description": "Chinese poet Li Bai\u2019s (701\u2013762) poem \u201cGazing at a Waterfall on Mount Lu\u201d is about experiencing the vastness of the galaxy in relationship to one\u2019s own being. Japanese Zen monk-poet Keijo Sh\u016brin (1440\u20131518) identified Li\u2019s poem as the inspiration for Japanese painter Geiami\u2019s (1431\u20131485) work Gazing at a Waterfall, in the collection of the Nezu Museum, which features sharp brushstrokes and bright colors. In contrast, this album leaf\u2019s painter, Geiami\u2019s son S\u014dami, took a more delicate approach to the theme. The waterfall and the pair watching it frame the mist rising from the water at the center of the image.",
