Captain N. Baily British, active 1850s-1860s
Little is known of N. Baily, a British amateur photographer who worked during the mid-19th century. He was a member of the Amateur Photographic Association and participated in several of their album exchanges. Baily worked in the wet collodion process, and his known images are still lifes with game, fowl, and fish. T.W.F.
* John Hamilton Craigie (British) - artist
John Hamilton Craigie British, active 1860s-1890s
A member of the Royal Photographic Society and the Amateur Photographic Association, in 1891 John Craigie exhibited at the Royal Photographic Society in London and at the Institute of Fine Arts in Glasgow. He made albumen prints and is best known for topographical subjects such as Melrose Abbey and Lindisfarne Priory. T.W.F.
