Anna Wyers was born in The Netherlands and learned metalsmithing in Europe before settling in Cleveland in 1913. Early in 1914 she entered into a partnership with Mildred Watkins, but by 1919 she was working independently and continued in that fashion throughout the remainder of her career. During the 1920s she regularly exhibited examples of silver and other metalsmithing and jewelry at the annual May Shows of the Cleveland Museum of Art and frequently won awards in various categories for her work.
