She subsequently integrated the stitched projections into her wall hangings, examples of which are in the museum's collection along with Mexican-influenced works of the 1980s. This nationally renowned and widely collected artist was chairman of the museum's landmark exhibition of the best contemporary international fiber art, Fiberworks, in 1977.",
