I think of the rows of knots as lines wrapping around a form, giving it movement, weight, and direction. I love making order from the chaos of hundreds of threads and thousands of knots.\u201d On the multiple components to her sculpture, she says, \u201cThe empty space between each piece is as important as the positive space. I want the whole to be stronger than each part. I select shapes which express circumstances, tensions, contradictions, and the interplay of relationships in life.\u201d",
