The work\u2019s title refers to a road sign that Apfelbaum repeatedly passed while she was working at the Tamarind Institute, a lithographic print shop in New Mexico. There, she used a rainbow roll\u2014an ink roller with multiple blended colors\u2014to produce the print\u2019s vivid tonality.",
