This drawing shows a sailor leaning over a young woman in the back of a carriage while riding through Central Park. Their driver slumps in his seat, entirely disinterested in what transpires behind him. Marsh revisited the drawing two years later, creating a variation on the sheet\u2019s reverse side.",
