This drawing shows a sailor leaning over a young woman in the back of a carriage while riding through Central Park. Their driver slumps in his seat, entirely disinterested in what transpires behind him. Marsh revisited the drawing two years later, creating a variation on the sheet’s reverse side. wall description: --- RELATED WORKS --- CITATIONS --- IMAGES
