Eventually, he started his own landscaping business. \u201cI don\u2019t have bosses, set schedules. I wouldn\u2019t change my job,\u201d he said. The artist wanted workers like Vargas, who serve the tourists and wealthy Lima residents of the upscale Miraflores area, to be seen as individuals, so he handwrote their life stories around their portraits.",
